We are regionally based in Armidale, NSW, which makes us well suited to get to know your regional build site. We have projects stretching from Northern NSW down to the Newcastle region, with industry connections to match and our finger on the pulse of the regional building climate. You are welcome to visit our friendly design studio in downtown Armidale anytime, and we are always happy to book a call or visit to chat about your project.

We are designing from Australia’s highest (and possibly coldest) city and our service region extends from the New England High Country to the Western Plains, so we understand and design for environmental extremes. We have loads of experience at designing rural off-grid solutions for living in the harsh sub-zero winters to dry hot summers. Our passive design process translates to reduced energy costs and comfortable living.

Being regional we tend to be better placed to offer architectural services with less overhead so you get equivalent service to a full service Sydney Architecture firm… regionally. We are transparent with our design fees and work closely with clients and builders throughout our design process with your build budget in mind.

Depending on the size of your project, we strive to get from concept to submission for DA Approvals within 6 months. We have a cohesive inhouse team handling the completion of core project phases such as Architectural Design, Interior Design, DA Documentation with additional services offered for Construction Documentation and Contract Admin. The Epic Architecture team draws from the regions’ stunning natural beauty and rich indigenous and colonial heritage. Many of our clients moving into the region are making the ultimate ‘tree change’; purchasing large blocks or small farms and then building their dream home.
